2023   Section 8 County Champions, 2nd at the Eastern States, 1st at the Section 8 Nassau County Dual Meet                                       Championships, 3rd or 4th at the NYS Team Dual Meet Championships ( No 3rd and 4th place wrestle off ),  3rd in                  NYS Individual Championships team scoring. Side note: In 5 years of having a Team Dual Meet Championship,                        Wantagh has placed 1st, 2nd and 3rd or 4th since there was no wrestle off.

We have been NYS Dual Meet State Champs 4 Times ( 2008, 2009, 2013, 2018 ) and NYS Individual Champions 3 Times ( 2009, 2013, 2018 )
